Professional Ordinary Diploma In Administrative Management (D.AM)
Objectives
• The professional diploma is designed to encourage persons of related and non-related fields to acquire extensive skills and knowledge required for effective functioning in an Administrative Management environment. The Institute is achieving this by exposing and testing candidates through a way structured examination syllabi that are expected to equip the graduates to sufficiently tackle the challenges they will meet in real work environment.
• To add impetus to existing effort towards enhancing knowledge in Administrative management.
• To instigate further studies in Administrative Management and allied disciplines among Nigerians thereby enhancing their capacities for effective Administrative Management, this should inevitably result in efficiency
Career Prospect
The programme is designed such that graduates enjoy both educational and professional career growth. This is achieved through networking with employers of labour, employment consultants and academic institutions.
Entry Requirements
Five credits ‘O’ level (WASSCE, NECO etc.) subjects or equivalent certificate.
Duration
It is expected that within eighteen months, an average candidate should complete the Professional Diploma Course.

Examination
Examinations will be held at the end of each semester and in conformity with guidelines on examination approved by the academic board of the Institute, However, examination is held June and December every year, thereby allowing five months uninterrupted study period.
Funding / Expenditure
The programme is financed through internally generated revenue. As limited by Guarantee Company, the Institute is guided by public financial guidelines and disclosure requirements in preparing her financial statements
Employers Rating Of Professional Diploma Programme
At the moment, the Diploma in administrative management certificate of the Institute is rated as a post secondary intermediate qualification.
Lecture And Conference Rooms, Learning And Teaching Aids
The Institute currently has twelve (12) lecture rooms and conference hall, adequately ventilated, all with magic boards; two are air conditioned and other with electric fans. The Institute also has learning and teaching aids such as Public Address System, Projector and Screen.
Library Facilities
The Institute has a functioning reference library with current volumes of text books, journals, magazines and newspapers.
The library recently acquired wide range volumes of Journal publication by Administrative Staff College of Nigeria Topo- Badagry, Lagos, Nigeria.
