ADMINISTRATIVE SKILL LEARNING AND CERTIFICATION COURSE

The expansion of knowledge and skills occasioned by increased level of sophistication in every field of endeavor has made it imperative to compliment functional competences with administrative skills. This is to equip every personnel with capabilities to meet knowledge and skills required to efficiently and effectively combine organization’s resources i.e. men, money, material and equipments.

The need for best minds underscores increased demand for highly specialized personnel in order to be on top of their ‘games’. A job holder’s functional skills notwithstanding, today’s multi-tasking work requirements, makes it imperative to compliment specialized skills with universal applicable skill such as Administrative competence.

  METHODOLOGY    

Administrative skills learning and certification programme (IRAMN/ALCC) is programmed to achieve three objectives of knowledge, skill and credible certification.

IRAMN/ALCC exposes Candidates to administrative skill curriculum which is designed around administrative knowledge, skills and experience.

Registered candidates are given study manuals; these manuals are products of research, written and compiled by experienced professionals. These simulate contemporary administrative challenges and proffer solutions during training.  

IRAMN/ALCC has well organized and supervised examination policies, complimented by information technology.  This is to ensure a credible test and certification outcomes. In this regard, secured examination software and external assessors, experienced in examination policy administration have been made to form part of it quality assured initiatives.

ALCC is targeted at undergraduates, graduates and persons in non-management practice such as Medicine, Engineering, Law, Arts etc., who must need administrative management skill at some point of their careers. As part of the Institute’s practice advocacy, undergraduates of management and non-management in tertiary institutions are encouraged enroll on the programme with a reduced registration fee.

The professional post-graduate diploma (PGD.AM) is designed to encourage graduates of related and non-related disciplines, to acquire knowledge at post graduate level for proper functioning at senior administrative management level. The Institute is achieving this by exposing and testing candidates through a way structured examination syllabus that is expected to equip graduates to sufficiently tackle challenges they will meet in real work environment.

Objectives

To add impetus to existing effort towards enhancing knowledge in Administrative management.

To instigate studies in administrative management at post graduate level for graduates all disciplines. Thereby enhancing their capacities for effective and efficient management of resources.

To provide an examination route to the Institute’s professional membership

 Entry Requirements

Holders of Bachelor’s degree, HND or equivalence certificates in any discipline, holders of professional membership certificates such as ACA, A.Inst.AM ACIA, ACIS, ANIM, ACIBN, ACMA, ACCA etc.

  Duration

It is expected that within twelve Months, an average candidate should complete the Professional Post-Graduate Diploma Course.
